A few weeks ago I traveled down to the Cape to shoot alongside Lisa Rigby, a super talented New England wedding photographer who I met through ANOTHER ridiculously talented photographer up here, Li. It was such a relaxed, fun day–Lisa trusted me to shoot film as her second and I had a great time challenging myself to shoot in a way that might compliment her work. Chatham Bars Inn is a gooooooorgeous venue for an outdoor wedding and beachfront reception, no?! And these two were so joyful and relaxed as they celebrated alongside their family and friends. Such a lovely, lovely day, and I’m super thankful for Lisa inviting me down to shoot with her. If you want to peek at Lisa’s perspective from the day, check out this groovy blog post she put together!

I so enjoyed traveling to Amherst to photograph Andy + Michele’s rustic Red Barn wedding earlier this year. Western Massachusetts is so perfectly rural and mountainous, and A+M’s wedding day proved perfectly suited to this location–intimate, laid back, and full of thoughtful DIY details. Congrats, you two! So excited that you’ve finally (!!!) tied the knot!

I had the BESTTTTT time assisting Li Ward over at Fat Orange Cat Studio at her Wychmere Beach Club wedding earlier this summer! I had the chance to shoot lots of film, and loved seeing all the Jewish traditions throughout the day. My favorite parts were the lovely outdoor ceremony spot, all the oh-so-New-England nooks and crannies around the venue, the Hora (!!!!), the delicious seafood and all those ridiculously cute kids running about! The Cape (as they say) truly is so lovely, and I can’t wait to explore more of the little towns along the coast! Thanks, Li, for having me along!

Also, if you want to peek at Li’s perspective from the day, hop over to her blog!
