It proved to be such a relaxed and sincere day, with so much joy and celebration to boot. The Village Church (…so quaint!) and Emily’s parents’ backyard were the perfect settings to celebrate these two–small, and not at all fussy. I loved the bridesmaids’ floral crowns and Emily’s elegant bouquet by Seasons Downeast, Emily’s loooovely Elizabeth Fillmore Gown, the amazing and tasty food by Swan’s Way Catering, the neutral mismatched bridesmaids dresses mostly from Jcrew (with one vintage dress thrown in), and just how laid back and sweet their day was. Congrats, you two!

It was such a treat to photograph Adam + Lindsay’s wedding at Marianmade Farm a few weeks ago! Such lovely details, meaningful toasts, a beautiful venue, and a laid back, relaxed timeline of the day. I love the outdoor ceremony and barn reception sites at Marianmade Farm and the amazing floral design by Michelle, who owns the venue; there was SUCH INCREDIBLE food by Trillium Catering; Sarah over at Daisies and Pearls styled and coordinated everything so flawlessly; and to end the night we even saw fireworks–a true celebration of Adam + Lindsay and their start as husband and wife! Maine is so beautiful and I so enjoy seeing more and more of it as I explore and travel around New England for weddings this season. Congrats, A + L!

I don’t often photograph church weddings, but black and white film lends itself to such a romantic, quiet mood, no!? I so enjoyed documenting Arielle + Hector’s Worcester, MA wedding, and loved seeing their two families and cultures come together to celebrate the two of them! I also enjoyed Arielle’s surprise performance at the reception–I gather from the reception venue and the stellar performance that Arielle comes from a line of very talented musicians indeed. So happy to see these two wed–congrats A+H!
