Mike drove up from Philly to shoot this Boston Public Library wedding, and I mostly just followed him around and ogled his cool film equipment and his talent and skills (he’s so dang good!). Anyway, I was able to snap a few rolls of film throughout the day and thought I would share a handful of my favorite photos. If you’d like to peek at Mike’s perspective from the day, head over to his groovy blog and peruse it a bit…!

All season long, I have been so looking forward to meeting these two (and their sweet pug, Charlie!) and looking forward to photographing their farm wedding up in New Hampshire. Meredith + JP got ready at The Common Man Inn in Claremont, and then took a big bus over to a private estate for their farm ceremony and reception. I love how natural, easy, and laid back their day was–from the canoe filled with beer; to the outdoor, natural vibe; the relaxed timeline; the easy to eat and delicious food catered by Machu Chicken (the couple’s favorite restaurant up in Somerville! I can attest, it was delightful); and even a few fireworks to finish off the night. Congrats you two! So happy I had the chance to be a part of your special day!

Do you remember when we were up there last, shooting Tess & Michael’s engagement photos and spending the weekend enjoying New England in the fall? How beautiful is this place, you guys!? I am so happy that these two (plus their sweet pup Titus who is also Stout’s BFFL!) moved to Massachusetts and that we’ve had the chance to get to know them and develop a friendship with them. Ragged Mountain is where Tess spent much of her childhood–hiking, swimming, running around and enjoying the peaceful little mountain community. Over the last year or so, she’s shared with me details of wedding planning–from the DIY birch wood table numbers and her handmade bar sign, the maple syrup favors and the rowing oar “guestbook,” her foraged bridal bouquet (which she whipped up that morning! Seriously!), her and Michael’s signature cocktails, hand stamped napkins, and handmade cocktail flags. So many sweet, personal touches to make their wedding day truly unique and personalized. Meeting Tess & Michael’s families, celebrating with their friends…such a wonderful memory and I am so happy to share a few of my favorite photos from the day! And even though I am hot and sweaty and a bit of a mess by this point, here’s a cute shot of me and Bryan dancing at the reception (thanks to the guest who snapped it!):415Every image was shot on either a Hasselblad H1, Hasselblad H2, or Canon 1V using Portra 400, Portra 800, or Ilford 3200 film, developed and scanned by the talented folks over at Richard Photo Lab.
